Posted by James Sherrett at November 11, 2005 05:10 PMA nice piece. And you're right to raise the pay-for-use issue. As the recent Amazon developments suggest, the industry will start dabbling with micro pay-per-use access before too long.
Does your contract explicitly prevent publication of the book online? If not, uio.com might be a good place to experiment. Maybe a chapter or two for folks to sample online?
