Purloined Restaurant July Menu

All of these items, or at least the ideas for them, have been stolen from elsewhere. Cookbooks, newspapers, TV shows, restaurants. Everything is fair game as a source to be purloined.


Starters

Crostini platter • basket of French bread crostinis • herb butter • grilled vegetables • mixed spiced meats • select cheeses • mixed olives

Grilled mixed vegetables • peppers, gourds and roots • savoury humous • French-bread crostinis

Raw vegetables and dip • season cut veggies • daily dips

(all salads served with crostini and a daily selection of custom-made dressings)

Potato • red nugget potatoes • sweet onions • shallots • celery stalks and fronds • seasonal herbs


Grilled Sandwiches

Back bacon • sun-dried tomato pesto • aged white cheddar • multigrain bread • basil leaves

Asparagus croque monsieur • maple-glazed ham • melted swiss cheese • thick-sliced rye bread • served open-face
